Mmmmmm yum … The first look and smell tells me I'm going to enjoy this one. A nice thick soup in a big bowl (it makes a huge difference having a thick coconut sauce, there's just too many watered down versions out there) and with "just" the right amount of oily red stuff hinting at good flavour…..

The soup base itself needed a little chilli injection for my personal taste, but I prefer adding my own chilli quantities rather than having too much to begin with ….. Every one likes different amounts and there was plenty of different chilli assortments on offer to add, I selected some dry chilli flakes and some fresh chopped chilli in a light soy sauce……

Well it went down a treat! My only real gripe with this dish was that the chicken itself was a little bit dry, and it also could have done with a few more greens thrown in for extra colour & flavour.

Otherwise this was a very very nice Laksa…
Will definitely return again for another if I'm back up that way soon.

A good place for a quick tasty Laksa….
