I've been eyeing this place off for quite awhile now in fact probably for about the last 6 months, I just haven't had the chance to actually do anything about yet. So when I happened to be in the area today around lunch time I had to act. And I don't know why I've waited for so long.
From the moment I walked thru the doors I knew I was going to be up for a one hell of a decent Laksa, and I wasn't disappointed.

It came delivered on its light blue tray with an overflowing bowl of amber /red broth, topped with a crispy fritter almost like a papudum but with "soak ability". Plenty of tofu also soaking up that tasty looking gravy. The chicken in this dish has been fried and offers a different texture than what I have come to normally expect and it keeps in line with the the crispy fritter, throw in a couple of fish balls a few clams and the occasional touch of green in the form of a some spring onions and we have a winner. Okay its a polystyrene bowl but it is filled to the max.

Now the broth. Its not the thickest of broths but it sure has a full flavour nothing to spicy but defiantly a bit of a kick, I didn't need to ask for any extra Sam bal/Chilli but I'm sure that they have plenty of the good stuff floating around if it was required.
Considering I paid pretty much twice the price around the corner not long ago for a Laksa that really was only half of what I had today in flavour. It just shows that shopping around can really make the difference
